- Go to myUMW
- Login to the portal by entering your NetID (tsmith) and your Network Password.
- Click on the following links: Banner Self Service, Student and Financial Aid, Registration.
- To see if a registration override has been entered on your record, click on Check Your Registration Status link.
- Select a term from the drop down menu by clicking on the arrow and then clicking on the term. Then click on the Submit button.
- Below the 3 check boxes and above the curriculum information will be a list of any registration overrides that you have for the semester. There are 3 different codes for overrides. The Closed Class code means your professor has entered the code to allow you to register for a class that is full. The Repeat code means that a code has been put on course(s) so that you may take them over if you wish. The Permission of Instructor code means that you can register for a course that requires the permission of the instructor.
- Write down the CRN of the class(es) with the code that you need to add to your schedule.
- Return to Eagle Gateway, under Student Registration Tools, choose Add or Drop Classes.
- Choose the ENTER CRNS tab at the top of the screen.
- Type in the CRN(s) number and click Add to Summary.
- Click Submit Changes.
- Double check your schedule for accuracy and print it for your records.
