Our mission at the University of Mary Washington is to assist veterans, active-duty service members, guardsmen, reservists, and dependents in making a successful transition into the UMW community. We aim to help these students in various capacities, including transfer credit counseling and advising on VA benefits.
Located within the Office of Registrar, UMW’s two VA School Certifying Officials personally understand that the transition to student life can be challenging yet rewarding. Along with the entire university community, we are grateful to you and your family members for your service to our country. We are dedicated to providing the services you need to successfully navigate this transition, and we are proud to assist our military and veteran community in any way. Please visit the Veterans & Military Resources website for information regarding military-connected student services.
