Summer Dates

May/June Courses
May 20 Classes begin;Late registration and in-person drop-add period begins at 8 a.m.
May 22 Last day to register or add courses for May/June 2013. Must complete by 5 p.m.
May 24 Last day to receive a 100% refund for dropped courses
May 28 Last day to drop a course without receiving an grade of W.
May 29 Last day to receive a 50% refund for dropped courses; no refund after this date for dropped courses
June 3 Last day to withdraw from a course without an automatic grade of “F”; Last day to change to/from pass/fail
June 18 Last day of classes for May/June term; Last day to withdraw from May/June term
June 19 Reading Day
June 20 Exams
June 21 Residence halls close at 10 a.m.
June 24 Final Grades due at noon

June/July Courses
June 23 Residence halls open 2 p.m.
June 24 Classes begin for the June/July term
June 26 Last day to register or add classes for the June/July term
June 28 Last day to receive 100% refund for dropped courses
July 2 Last day to drop a course without a grade of “W”;Last day to receive a 50% refund for dropped courses, no drops after this date.
July 4 Independence Day holiday; no class meetings; Daytime courses will be made up on July 12; Evenings will be made up on the first open evening (Contact course instructor)
July 8 Last day to withdraw from a class without an automatic grade of “F”; Last day to change to/from pass/fail.
July 23 Last day of class for June/July term; Last day to withdraw from June/July term (if only registered for courses in the June/July term)
July 24  Reading Day
July 25  Exam
July 26  Residence halls close 10 a.m.
July 30  Final grades due at noon

Ten-week Courses
May 20  Classes begin
May 24  Last day to receive 100% refund for a dropped course; Last day to register/add for the 10-week-session
May 29  Last day to receive a 50% refund for a dropped course; no refund after this date for dropped courses.
May 31  Deadline for all SUMMER internships; Last day to drop a course without a grade of “W”
June 28  Last day to withdraw from a course without an automatic grade of “F”; Last day to change to/from pass/fail
July 4 Independence Day holiday; no class meetings (contact instructor for make-up)
July 26 Last day of the 10-week session; Last day to withdraw from the 10-week session; Final exams; Residence halls close at 10 a.m.
July 30 Final grades due at 12 noon

Eight-week Courses

May 24 Last day to receive 100% refund for dropped class; Last day to register for or add 8-week courses
