New Speaking Intensive Course Proposals
Interested in having your course designated as Speaking Intensive? Faculty should submit proposals through CIM (click here to access CIM). Here are the deadlines for 2026-2027:
- Spring 2027 courses: proposals should be received by September 18, 2026
- Summer 2027 courses: proposals should be received by November 20, 2026
- Fall 2027 courses: proposals should be received by January 22, 2027
Feel free to contact SI Faculty Director, Adria Goldman (agoldma3@umw.edu), or anyone on the SI/WI Committee for assistance in preparing your proposal. (The 2026-2027 chair of the SI/WI committee is Kalpesh Bhatt, kbhatt@umw.edu). Please include a copy of your syllabus, as well as copies of related assignments and rubrics.
