Our Values

Background

In 2020 we decided to update our mission statement to better reflect our values both as individuals and an organization. These values inform everything that COAR does, and we feel that it is important to share them with both our volunteers and our community partners.

1. We act in a way that is collaborative and compassionate. 

2. We work with our community partners to find solutions to social problems. 

3. We support social and racial justice.

4. We believe in environmental stewardship.

5. We believe in being present, and connecting with love, empathy, honesty and transparency. 

6. We are here to learn and grow, and we are committed to teamwork. 

7. We act in a way that is professional and fair.
