List of CE Courses

Several UMW courses now have a Community Engagement (CE) designation.

Not all courses that work in the community have a “CE” designation, but the courses below currently do:

Dr. Melanie Szulczewski, Associate Professor, Earth and Environmental Sciences leads UMW students, Taylor McConnell (Wearing Pink sweatshirt), Maura Slocum (wearing green shirt), and Meghan King (wearing red sweatshirt) in collecting soil, water and plant samples along Contrary Creek in Louisa County, Monday Oct. 26, 2015. Dr. Szulczewski is doing a long term study of the creek and surrounding soils as a result of pollution due to pyrite mining activity in the area. (Photo by Norm Shafer).
