Advisory Board

Charge: Provides informal counsel to Director of the Rappahannock Scholars Program on various issues affecting the undergraduate experience. This group acts as a sounding board, provides constructive feedback, and identifies issues needing attention.

Advisory Board members help welcome new students into the program, coordinate events for the RSP, serve as mentors, develop meeting agendas, and oversee works-study sessions.

If you are interested in being on the board, you must meet the folding requirements. First-year students are eligible in the Spring semester of their first year.

  • GPA of 2.5 or better
  • Available to attend Advisory Board meetings
  • Available to attend monthly general meetings
