What is the No Time to Read Book Club?
Each semester, we read a current book about teaching and learning (or not!). At meetings, CfT provides a 10-15 minute summary of the month’s chapters. The remaining meeting time is a discussion or workshop about the chapter topics. You can read along or simply join the group each month–no homework and no guilt.
Does the Center for Teaching provide books for participants?
CfT provides a limited number of books each semester (usually in hard copy). Fall book copy requests are made in August; spring book copy requests are in November.
What is the current semester’s read?
Our Fall 2025 selection is The Opposite of Cheating: Teaching for Integrity in the Age of AI by Tricia Bertram and Gallant & David A. Rettinger.
Our Spring 2026 selection is More Than Words: How to Think About Writing in the Age of AI by John Warner.
