Undergraduate Research
As noted in its Mission Statement, the University of Mary Washington “. . . especially encourages the participation of undergraduates in research.” Last academic year, 150 students received Undergraduate Research Grants from UMW. Students from 17 different academic departments received awards, enabling them to conduct a wide range of projects.
