Appointments can be made through UMW’s EAB tool. Click on the button below to go to the scheduler:
For Spring 2023:
You have two options for your consultation:
Online or In-Person Appointment (up to 30 minutes)
For up to 30 minutes, this meeting can be used to practice a short presentation, prepare for an assignment, or brainstorm a presentation.
Online or In-Person Appointment (up to 60 minutes)
A full hour for longer presentations, or if you feel you need more time for your consultation
What happens with an online consultation:
First, you make your appointment through EAB. Make sure to select the virtual appointment option! Then your consultant will email you with a link for your Zoom meeting (you will receive this by the start of your scheduled consultation time). Click on that link to open up your Zoom meeting. If you are unsure about how to start a Zoom meeting, watch this short video.
If you do not have high speed internet access:
We can also offer you a consultation via email or phone. Go ahead and make your appointment through EAB, and comment that you would like a phone or email consultation. Your consultant will then get in touch with you at the start of your scheduled consultation.
Instructions on how to make an appointment through EAB:
You will be asked to login using your UMW NetID, and you can then select the service, date, modality, and consultant for your appointment. You can also receive a reminder email or text message. Here is a short video to show you what that scheduler looks like once you have logged in:
