Reporting directly to the Office of the Provost, the Office of Institutional Analysis and Effectiveness provides accurate, relevant, and timely access to information used by both internal and external constituencies. Driven by the mission of the University to “provide a superior education that inspires and enables our students to make positive changes in the world,” we collect, analyze, and disseminate a wide variety of data and information in support of institutional effectiveness and decision-making processes. We are also committed to building competence in assessment and other data-driven improvement strategies aimed at making academic programs and institutional units more effective in fulfilling the mission of the University of Mary Washington.
