Students in the DGST 301N: AI in Society class worked in groups to identify social problems/needs and develop solutions to those problems. At the end of the semester, they competed in a pitch contest with those solutions, and the top three were recognized in the final exam meeting. Those groups presented their projects to the class and special guest judges Dr. Filiz Tabak, Dean of the UMW College of Business, and Dr. Tim O’Donnell, UMW Provost. The rest of the class served as the third judge. The results are included here, along with their group pitch videos.
