Using Team-Based Learning in World Regional Geography: Perceptions, Outcomes, and Effectiveness
This talk will explore the use of team-based learning in GEOG 101: World Regional Geography, an introductory 70-seat course. Specifically, this presentation will offer a brief overview of team-based learning, provide a statistical analysis of two years of student survey data related to the use of team-based learning, and provide a foundation for instructors who would like do similar research or use team-based learning in their own courses.
