Favorite type of consultation: I enjoy reading papers about areas outside my expertise, because I enjoy reading new content and learning new material through other people’s writing.
Something you wish people knew about the Writing Center: It is very helpful to have peers read your papers and give you tips on how to improve. They also give a lot of comments about your writing strengths, so it is a nice balance. Peer consultants always answer your questions and concerns thoroughly, and make sure to ask if you have more questions at the end.
