Authentic Learning and the Millenial Student

How do you get students to engage personally with the issue of poverty and development? Do you want to learn one proven method to help students think more critically about the steps of poverty reduction?  How do you provide an opportunity for students to have first-hand experience with questions and themes that are central to the course?

* Consider ways to engage students so that they are vested in the process

* Discuss one practical strategy for motivating student engagement

* Explore how this model might be implemented in other settings
