Advantages of Earning an Associate Degree

The University gives special admissions consideration to students completing the Associate degree program from one of Virginia’s two-year public institutions.  Any student earning an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Arts & Science (or, for BLS students, an Associate in Applied Science earned at Germanna CC ) in any major except General Studies will have completed most of the General Education requirements. We do accept General Studies majors from the following list of VCC schools.  If the Virginia two-year public institution is not listed, we do not accept the General Studies majors.
