Dragon Naturally Speaking
Dragon Naturally Speaking is voice recognition software. This software allows users to talk into a microphone and have their words entered into the computer. It can also control all mouse and keyboard functions through voice commands to provide hands-free access to those individuals with significant physical limitations.

JAWS software is for students with visual impairments. Reads aloud electronic text and provides many useful commands that make it easier to use programs, edit documents and read web pages. With a refreshable Braille display, JAWS can also provide Braille output in addition to, or instead of, speech.

Kurzweil Reading
Kurzweil comes in two different models. Model 1000 is for students with visual impairments. Reads aloud electronic text or documents that have been scanned. Model 3000 is for students with learning disabilities as well as those with limited vision. Reads aloud electronic text or documents that have been scanned as well as highlights the words being read for visual input.
Read & Write Gold
Read & Write Gold is a customizable, easy to use toolbar that seamlessly integrates with familiar applications including Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer, and Adobe Reader, allowing students to access the support tools they need from within mainstream software programs. It highlights and reads text aloud using natural sounding voices and also includes a comprehensive set of support tools for reading, writing, studying, research, and test taking.
