Wondering what to do with your major? Do you know how to network? Are you thinking about graduate school? Schedule an appointment to discuss these and many other topics. Book an appointment online or call to schedule.
Resume Review Services
After viewing the Resume Writing section of our website, you may want to schedule an appointment or come in during our walk-in session to have your resume reviewed. Walk-ins are 15 minutes and do not require an appointment. Currently, walk-ins are on Monday from 2-5pm in Lee 308.
Mock Interviews
Schedule a mock interview with an employer or a career services staff member to practice and receive feedback on your interviewing skills. Appointments are one-hour long and include a review of your resume, typical interview questions, industry specific questions, and a feedback session. To prepare for the mock interview review the Interview Power handout.
Career Assessments
The Office of Career Services currently offers assessments for use by current students and alumni: CareerBeam
In-Office Resources
Resource Library – Find information about hundreds of career fields; this includes salary ranges, books related to specific majors and graduate school information. The Resource Center is located in Lee Hall, room 308 and no appointment is required.
Faculty Career Advisors - Each department has a designated faculty member who serves as a liaison with Career Services and is knowledgeable about the resources and information available. Students can locate these advisors on the “What can I do with a major in”…sheets.
Computers with Word and internet access – Students may use these computers to type and print resumes and cover letters. Access to eRecruiting/Experience and other websites is also available.
