Fri. 18 Last day to change to/from a pass/fail grade for 1st 8-week term
Fri. 18 Last day to withdraw from a 1st 8-week course without a grade of F
Fri. 18 – Sun. 20 Family Weekend
Tue. 22 Declaration of Major is due (B.A./B.S. students only)

October

Fri. 9 Classes end for 1st 8-week term
Fri. 9 Last day to withdraw from the University (all courses) if registered for a 1st 8-week course (students may not be enrolled for 2nd 8-week session if withdrawing from 1st 8-week session)
Sat. 10 – Tue. 13 Fall Break (16-week semester); residence halls remain open
Mon. 12 – Fri. 16 Final exams for 1st 8-week term
Mon. 19 Classes begin (2nd 8-week term)
Fri. 23 Last day to change to/from a pass/fail grade (16-week semester)
Fri. 23 Last day to withdraw from a 16-week course without a grade of F
Fri. 23 Last day to add courses (by 5:00 pm, 2nd 8-week term)
Fri. 23 – Sat. 24 Homecoming Weekend

Fri. 6 Advance registration for upcoming Spring semester ends
Fri. 13 Last day to change to/from a pass/fail grade for 2nd 8-week term

Wed. 25 – Sun. 29 *Thanksgiving Break (Eagle Landing remains open.  Other residence halls close at l0:00 a.m. Wednesday and reopen at 2:00 p.m. Sunday)

December

Fri. 4 Last day of classes for 16-week semester and 2nd 8-week term
Fri. 4 Last day to withdraw from the University if registered for 16-week courses and/or 2nd 8-week courses if no grade has been received in 1st 8-week term
Sat. 5 – Sun. 6 Reading Period
Mon. 7 – Fri. 11 Final examinations (16-week semester & 2nd 8-week term)
Sat. 12 Residence halls (except for Eagle Landing) close at 10:00 a.m.
*Out-of-state and international students may contact the Office of Residence Life and Housing to investigate possible housing options during Break.
