Outlook Exchange Integration

Starfish/Outlook Calendar Integration

In Outlook:

  1. View your calendar
  2. Right click where it says “Calendar”

  1. Under the “Share” option, click on “Calendar Permissions”
  2. In the box that appears, click on “Add”

  1. In the box that appears, make sure your Address Book section says “Global Address List”.  If it doesn’t, click the drop down arrow and select “Global Address List”.
  2. Once that is selected, search for Starfish_sync@umw.edu
  3. Select Star Fish Sync, click Add, then click OK
  4. In the box that appears, make sure the following are selected:
    1. Permission Level: Reviewer
    2. Read: Full Details
    3. Delete Items: None
    4. Write: Nothing Selected
    5. Other: Folder Visibleintegration 3
  5. Click Apply to save the settings.



In Starfish:

  1. Log in to Starfish with your UMW username and password
  2. Click the dropdown arrow beside your name at the top of the page and select “Email Notifications”
  3. In the Appointments Notifications section, make sure the following are checked:
    1. Change to my appointments
    2. Change to my Office Hours/Group Sessions
    3. Read busy times from my external Exchange calendar
