“Learning to Focus: Strategies for Success!”
“Studying in short bursts definitely helps – 10 min study sessions over a few days really help improve the likelihood of information sticking. And as simple and obvious as it may seem, DO YOUR HOMEWORK; a lot of teachers like to use some of those questions on tests. Lastly, don’t be afraid to go to office hours, it gives the teacher an insight as to how students perceive the information and lets the teacher get to know you (which is good for recommendations.)”
A series of study skills building workshops. Topics such as time management, note taking, and test preparation are offered, to provide strategies for academic success.
It is recommended that you call 654-1010 to register or you may register online. (When calling, please leave your name and telephone number).
